BA, MA (University of Toronto).
My primary research area is normative ethics, specifically theories of well-being, ill-being, and the relationship between the two. Some of my other interests in ethics include harm, desert, non-human animals, and consequentialism. I also work in political philosophy, usually on issues related to liberalism, including the natural environment, perfectionism, secularism, religious tolerance, the just treatment of children, and autonomy. My favourite hobby is running, preferably in the mountains. The farthest I’ve run in one day is 125 kilometres.
